The Prelude

This limited edition book has been commisioned to celebrate Wordsworth's greatest poem. Only 150 copies were available for sale and we have a limited number remaining. The edition follows the text of one of the Wordsworth Trust’s greatest treasures, the fair copy of the poem made by Dorothy Wordsworth in 1805 known as Manuscript A. It is accompanied by 14 colour illustrations by David Esslemont which have been inspired by his reaction to the Lake District landscape.
